We typically scan:

All original photos and albums are returned once scanning is complete.
Our photo scanning service is designed for preserving, sharing, and enjoying family photographs, not for commercial printing or fine-art reproduction.
Here is what to expect:
- High-quality digital images delivered as JPEG files
- Suitable for viewing, sharing, and everyday printing
- Light colour and exposure correction applied where appropriate
- Originals safely returned after scanning
Older photographs naturally show signs of age, including fading, colour shifts, and wear. We apply gentle, balanced adjustments to improve overall appearance while preserving the original look of each photo. We avoid heavy retouching unless restoration is specifically requested.
A few important notes:
- Photos are scanned as they are received. We do not perform aggressive cleaning that could damage originals
- Albums that require manual removal or special handling may include an album discharge fee- If slides are stored in carousels, a carousel discharge fee may apply due to the additional handling required
- Large photo collections may require additional time. You will receive an estimated turnaround before we begin
- If any items require special handling outside our standard process, we will contact you first
